Epilepsy Research Information Kiosk
Purple Day is held each year on March 26 and is celebrated internationally to raise awareness for epilepsy.
Visit staff from EpLink – The Epilepsy Research Program of the Ontario Brain Institute, on the Concourse Level from 9:00am to 5:00pm to learn more about epilepsy and seizure first aid, and enjoy some complimentary treats!
EpLink is devoted to reducing seizures and improving quality of life for people with epilepsy through research. When medications alone do not adequately control seizures, new and more effective therapies are needed to manage epilepsy. We have over 35 researchers working at 8 universities and hospitals across Ontario to improve drug, diet and genetic therapies, surgical outcomes, brain monitoring and modulation, and quality of life.
