In the world of commerce and on the world stage, Brookfield Place is a world class landmark characterized by its commercial, historical and social significance. Its award-winning spaces, coupled with the uniqueness and stature of the complex, make it a much sought after venue for corporate and private receptions, photographic exhibits, film and photo shoots, product launches and promotional events.
The Allen Lambert Galleria, inspired by the nineteenth century Vittorio Emanuele Galleria in Milan, is the main venue for special events. In the recent past, it has played host to some of North America’s most prominent events and exhibitions including the World Press Photo Exhibit, Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and annual art installations as part of Luminato, Toronto Festival of Arts + Creativity.
In addition, there are three other event venues available in the complex: Sam Pollock Square, a 27,000 sq. ft. enclave that connects to the Allen Lambert Galleria; Garden Court, an outdoor courtyard facing onto Front Street; and the Concourse Level, a lively thoroughfare lined with shops, eateries and the main entrance gate to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
In addition to the 13,000 office tenants who work at Brookfield Place, over 100,000 business professionals and tourists pass through Brookfield Place each day. Pedestrian traffic flows continuously via the underground PATH from neighbouring office towers including First Canadian Place, Commerce Court, Royal Bank Plaza, Scotia Plaza and TD Centre.
After business hours, Brookfield Place continues to attract large audiences, in part because of its close proximity and direct access to Air Canada Centre, Union Station, and a number of major downtown hotels and entertainment attractions.
